Pure Vegan

Joseph's book is here and it's a dandy. To coincide with the release, he asked some friends to do a little video to help with the release of his brilliant cookbook. Nice work everyone.

Leslie Williamson's book is one everybody should have in their own personal library. It's a great book from start to finish. I recently stumbled upon Leslie's blog and was blown away by some outtakes and iphone pics she took.
I have tried to do more of posting original content but thought this was too good to pass up.

Cardinology

I couldn't resist buying this book as Ryan Adams is one of my favorite artists of all time. All photos were taken by the Cardinal's lead guitarist, Neal Casal, and they don't disappoint. These pictures have an "insiders guide" vibe to them. Any Ryan Adams fan will really enjoy this book in my opinion.

Dennis Hopper.... A Man of Many Talents

Whether he is directing, acting, painting, or photographing, Dennis Hopper seems to emulate coolness. Here's some proof....
Now if I could just afford some of his art.

LA Artists In Their Cars

I have to give big props to Joe Goode for a couple reasons : first, he is in Oklahoman and second, for doing/funding/creating such a cool calendar. He made this in the 60's because all his artist friends had such different cars which seemed to reflect each one's unique personalities.
The actual calendar can be scene in the dressing rooms at the RRL store off melrose. More pictures and insight can be found in the books Photographing the L.A. Art Scene 1955- 1975 & Made in L.A.

Sam Haskins

The South African born photographer is one of the most renowned photogs when it comes to taking pictures of beautiful naked women. If only I had his job....
