FLO-RIDA

Things done in Florida: gator tail eating, alligator farm watching, beach walking, and much more. A nice way to ring in the new year and get some R&R.
Some snapshots of the trip that don't really do it justice but you get the point.

Alium

A great shop in a town filled with less than 200 people. I always enjoy when shops/brand/people focus on their own things and not follow on the trends of the time. Alium is no exception. A big thanks to Mariano and Carolyn for showing us around Garzon. I am very excited for the future...

Master of Film Music w/ JNH

I got see me prior boss perform with the Dallas Symphony. This wasn't you typical symphony show. James and Co. played/talked/discussed the various films he has laid down music for. Throw in a q&a with Lawrence Kasdan, a choir, and a world renowned symphony, and it was a very cool experience.

KIOSK

I literally walked by this when in NYC and lit up realizing it was the actual KIOSK that I've always loved. We went up a flight of stairs and stumbled upon the best unique shop I've probably ever been to. I am not that good of a writer to tell you how great this place is. You just need to go. Or at least go to their site.

Tulum

Just got back from Tulum and severely missing the cocktails but not the mosquitos. Here are some pics from our adventure. Too many good things to do/eat/see in Tulum but here is a quick batch of photos to show you what all we did.
Make sure you do the following when in Tulum - rent a bike, rent a car, eat/drink at Hartwood, hang out at Coqui Coqui or even get your spa on, go the the Grand Cenote, eat tacos at Rincon, go to the ruins, buy some hats, eat at Cetli, and repeat if necessary.

our hotel/view - Zamas
The spa of Coqui Coqui and the view of the beach
random pics from our time spent in town
the ruins of Tulum - please notice the "the lizard king" sitting in the middle of the fort..creepy!
cooking class at Altamar - Ceviche x 5
Hartwood - this dude sat next to us one night so you know it's soo khieellll!!!!!

Westward Bound

I'm still recovering from the 27 hour drive from Oklahoma to Los Angeles. Here are some pictures from the long haul.

it's Refinery 29, not 39
Navajo Land
P.S. - I do not advise doing this drive in a U-Haul. Gas is kind of expensive.
