Trash to Treasure Furniture

I've seen some really cool furniture whose roots were made from thrown away parts. My favorite thus far have been from Sean Woolsey & GDB (Garza Design + Build). Some of you may know Garza's work from the cool furnishings from the Thunderbird Hotel in Marfa, TX.

David Black Photography

David's portfolio appears to be centered around cool musicians like Cat Power, the Kills, and The Roots, but when Ryan Adams posted some pics David took of him, I was drawn to the ones that didn't have any rocker in the picture.

American Pride

This car was made in 1959 and most likely hasn't been touched since '89. It's been sitting on cinder blocks for many years and as luck would have it, the door was unlocked to look at the inside of this beast. One may think that this was set up as a prop or something but I swear, the inside/outside was never touched by me or anyone else.
Basically, what you see in these pics is what ya get. With everyone, including me, getting off on this americana kick, this is an example of a dude that bled red, white, and blue, before that may have been considered "cool."
