Down Time

I get one day off a week and that day usually consists of running an insane amount of errands for myself and the shop. Last week was different in that I gave myself actual free time to hang out. Bart and I decided to do something a little different and enjoyed some batting practice. Here are some pics that bart took of our trip.

I've been trying to enjoy my down town and get out of my comfort zone a bit more. Breakfast has been really fun lately, going to some new and old joints with my lady, playing tennis, watching Blake Griffin drunk on everyone, etc. etc.

We Are The Champions

I played in Puma's 2nd annual ping pong tourney representing Band of Outsiders and we dominated. What did we win? Some fancy table worth 9k. The question is, how do we split this??? Zidane : A Twenty-First Century Portrait

For those who need a little more soccer, or should I say football, in their lives, head on down to The Hammer on July 6 to view this amazing sports documentary. The premise is simple : 17 cameras follow around one of the greatest footballers of all time during a spanish league match. The game itself isn't very important but that's what makes this film so special. Zidane did extraordinary things every game and this film serves as a microscope of sorts to highlight each and every move. It really is like watching poetry in motion. More info HERE.
