Hand Me Downs

I recently raided my grandparents attic and came away with some good stuff.

(clockwise) - a signed ball by the '85 national champions to my grandfather, 1970's t-shirt for my grandfather's charity, and a 7 inch of the godfather of comedy from my uncle's record collection.

Wary Meyers Shop

Wary Meyers is one of those sites that I usually check a couple times a day and it never disappoints. Whether talking about some of the crazy projects he is working on or estate sales he hits up in Florida, it's always intriguing. Now, you can buy some of those unique items he found in Key West or up in Maine. Here are some of my favorite things from the shop.

To Japan..From LA with Love

When Jenny Le isn't running Opening Ceremony's LA's store, she makes art. Even better, this go around is for aiding Japan after all that has happened. So, if you get a chance, go check out Jenny and other great artists' work at Space 15 Twenty this Saturday from 7 to 10.

Old & New

Picked up both of these and can't tell which ones I like more. The pair on the left are from a an old pair of military pants that I had cut off. The ones on the right are from Shipley & Halmos and are a bit shorter. I have way too many pairs of green shorts.

My brother just released his record and to the select few who actually read this thing, I strongly advise you to buy it. The majority of the money will go to my brother, who funded this entire project by himself, and not some fatso sitting behind a desk aka music exec.

Furthermore, one of his songs from the new album got chosen to be the title song for a heartfelt documentary on Autism. Here's the trailer for it.

Foot SOLEdiers

My uber-talented girlfriend just cut this video and couldn't help but immediately post it to the site. Companies like TOMS are what make this world a better place. Some people/companies talk about doing great stuff, other's (see video), simply make it happen.
